Well what a weekend that was!
Burning the midnight oil
The last few months have been very busy for all at Elemental. After over a year of testing and development of our XP1 car the Rp1 project has dramatically moved forwards.
Top of the Top 5
While we have always been quietly confident of the capabilities of the Rp1, its always good to have our work validated by others.
PP1 car build
We are now assembling our first full Pre-Production car, or PP1, and we took delivery of the first tub just before Christmas.
Partnership with Coats
Elemental Motor Company are pleased to announce that we will partner with the world’s leading industrial thread manufacturer, Coats
Brands Hatch Testing
We’ve been running our test cars pretty hard for over a year now doing a lot of work on test tracks, wind tunnels and on the road.
Our development cars are known inside Elemental as the XP series. XP stands for Experimental Prototype.
By the Numbers
All of the Elemental team have driven the car now and we are all aware that it’s pretty quick.
More colour debates earlier this month with one of our test cars requiring preparation before a photo shoot .
When the wind blows: MIRA testing day
As we are always keen to point out, the Rp1 has been extensively developed and engineered using computer aided design tools.
At the end of the day I did finally get a chance to drive the car. Now, I do need to admit here that the only things I have ever driven on a track are Go-Karts.
Meet the press
Once the excitement of showing the Elemental Rp1 to the world at Goodwood in early July had passed the team had a few short days to stop, catch our breath and then prepare for (another) very busy month.
Are you sitting comfortably?
The way you sit in a car is central to how you experience it.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
The Rp1’s first visit to the Festival of Speed surpassed all of our expectations.
