Goodwood festival of speed

Well what a weekend that was!

Quite frankly we were overwhelmed by the response to the Elemental Stand and the RP-1 that we took up the famous hillclimb, at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The whole Elemental team spent the last few months working flat-out to reach this point, and as a result we were able to show off the RP-1 prototype; PP1. Resplendent in its bright blue warpaint, it drew many admiring looks in the supercar paddock, and on our stand were the next two “Beta” cars; the very smart looking red PP2, and a naked chassis, showing off the technological “Art” beneath the skin.

With drivers Ed, driving for us on the Friday and Saturday, and James driving on the Sunday, the Elemental RP-1 was able to give the public a taste of just how special it is. Whilst we are still fine tuning the car and with weather on each day that seemed to shift rapidly from very wet to damp to sunny and back again, our drivers were under strict instructions to take things easy on the hill.

Ed Moore’s first run on the Saturday (on a rather wet and in places, muddy track) is here:

Its been a long road to get to this point but the Elemental RP-1 has finally gone public.
